Effective 1 October 2026.

These terms cover use of the AI & I learning portal at ai-and-i.genwise.in. AI & I is an initiative of Bennett, Coleman & Company Limited (BCCL, The Times of India). GenWise TalentDev Private Limited (GenWise) builds and operates the learning portal for BCCL. These terms do not govern your purchase, college enrolment, or account with ToI; ToI's terms for those services continue to apply.

Access and your account

ToI and your college decide who may join the programme and which learning track you can use. ToI supplies your eligibility and account details to GenWise. Sign in through the method ToI provides. Your account is for you alone: do not share access, impersonate someone else, or try to reach another learner's work or records. Tell your college or ToI if your name, email address, college, or access level needs correction; changes to those fields come to this portal from ToI.

We may temporarily restrict access to protect learners or the service, investigate misuse, comply with law, or act on ToI's instructions. We will give you a way to ask for a review through Contact us or support@ai-and-i.genwise.in.

Learning work and conduct

Use the material for your own learning in this programme. Submit work that is yours, identify sources and AI tools as the task requires, and follow the instructions and assessment criteria shown for each activity. Do not submit another person's work as your own, share quiz answers or graded solutions, or use the portal to harass, threaten, spam, or post unlawful material.

In forums, follow the Community guidelines shown on the portal. Posts may be held for automated screening and human review before others can see them. We may remove material that breaks the guidelines and will provide a route to question a moderation decision. Do not post another person's contact details, identity documents, private messages, or confidential college or company information.

Some tasks ask you to use external AI services. Their own terms and privacy notices apply when you choose to open them. Use the supplied or public practice material. Do not put your own or another person's sensitive information, ToI or college confidential information, or portal credentials into an external AI tool. Where a task offers an alternative, you may use it.

Assessment, live sessions, and certificates

The task page explains what to submit and how it will be assessed. GenWise may use approved AI services to help staff draft feedback or flag forum posts; a person reviews assessment decisions before marks or feedback are released. If you believe a result or moderation decision is wrong, contact the AI & I team. We will explain how it can be reviewed.

Live sessions may take place on an external meeting or streaming service. Joining an interactive session may expose your display name, voice, video, or chat to other participants. Sessions may be recorded when the event notice says so. You can watch a stream or recording instead of speaking or turning on a camera when that option is offered. Any certificate depends on the published eligibility criteria and verification of your work; access to the portal alone does not guarantee one.

Content and your submissions

The programme materials, branding, and software belong to their respective owners. You may view and use them for your own participation, but may not redistribute course videos, assessments, or other restricted materials without permission. You keep any rights you have in work you create. By submitting or posting it, you allow BCCL and GenWise, acting for the programme, to store, display, assess, moderate, report on, and share it with authorised reviewers or certificate partners as described in the Privacy Policy. This permission is limited to operating and completing the AI & I programme and its required handover.

Changes and help

We may update these terms after BCCL approves the new version. We will show material changes on the portal and ask for renewed acceptance where appropriate. Continuing to use the portal after a new version is presented requires you to accept it. If you decline, your access may stop; you can still contact us about your data or an earlier decision.

For a portal problem, complaint, or appeal, use Contact us or support@ai-and-i.genwise.in. For privacy questions, see the Privacy Policy or write to privacy@ai-and-i.genwise.in.
